Hi buddies, I am Wenchun Feng from China. I come from a professional family and this has a great influence on the cultivation of my character. There are a lot of books on our family's shelves. I browsed through them when I had leisure time. The books were filled with all kinds of graphs and charts and I wondered when I will be able to truly understand what is behind all these funny yet abstruse figures. Therefore, from then on, I have a dream, which is to comprehend the mysteries and rules of science as many as possible. Now, I am proudly receiving my Chemistry education to establish the basis of understanding one crucial part of science, as well as Mother Nature. As I am closer to my dream, I have more faith of what I am doing and feel really happy for every step I have made.

Besides my major, I have many hobbies, such as tennis/swimming/body building (only occasionally). Running down the court for every ball which is almost impossible to reach, hitting the ball to each of the baselines and sweating under the torrid noonday sun combine together to make tennis a fabulous sport to play. We can have tennis matches in Northwestern Univ. if you'd like to. Swimming is relaxing and makes me more energetic in daily life. To sum up, all kinds of sports go for me, especially the ones I listed above.
